I was having a problem with my check engine light coming on and going off. Wendy was able to get me an appointment in a few days and of course the light went off again. The technician ran some tests and was able to find the problem which was fixed. I now feel better driving my vehicle.

I pulled into 1st State with a tire going flat to get air in tire. Was told tire had a big hole and could not be fixed, I felt the whole, big hole. They put on the spare, ordered two new tires, said they would call me when new tires came in. A few days later they called, we set up an appointment appointment to install tires. I wanted the tires put on car in a certain way to check a bumping noise. I was happy and said thank you, paid my bill and left.

Oil change and tire rotation. Per the owners manual the lug nuts are to be torqued to 140 foot pound. They were at 90 to 100. I would hope they are using a torque wrench and not just a air or battery impact tool. Everything else is OK.

Brought car in for regular service and also asked them to check the temp gauge since it seem to be reading incorrectly. Service was done but nothing about the temp.

We had the Tahoe in for oxygen sensor replacement and a clunk which ended up being a motor mount. We will reach out to you concerning the temperature gauge which was not listed as a concern when we reviewed the repair order.

Rolled. Into service lane and James took care of my needs right away. Oil and filter change with tires rotation. Asked if he could tend to a corroded battery terminal and, yes he was abled to correct that. Waiting in the service room and was approached with coffee. Service was complete in reasonable time. Then off to a road trip!!!

I had to have a few things fixed on my truck as it's now at about 100,000 miles. The service department was great and really worked with me. I had dropped my truck off first thing in the morning and a kind lady from the company gave me a ride to work. The service department gave me a loaner to use overnight to drive from work to home and then back again so that they could complete all the work on it before I got it back. When I got my truck back they took the time and explained everything the technician did with it. I must say one of the issues with the truck was the front struts were leaking. They replaced them and I am amazed at how much smoother the ride is now. Getting work completed on a vehicle can be quite expensive. I want to thank them for making the process smooth and treating customers with consideration and care.

Just more excuses as to why my self-park feature keeps failing.

I talked with our service team and looked at the history of concerns about the self park issue. We tested it with the hitch removed and that appeared to be the issue with the system as once removed it worked according to specs. There are some situations it will not work in if obstructions are detected in the area of parking spot etc., and once engaged driver cannot brake or touch the wheel. I wasn't pleased with the wait time to finally purchase the car. I received the equinox vehicle reference information book. This is almost totally useless. there was no users manual. Is there one available ? If so I would like one. I'll pay for it if necessary. Please let me know. The salesman was nice. The demonstration of some of the devices could have been more detailed. There was a lot of pushing the screen and quick explanations. A lot to get your head around. Also the download of the user manual would probably be ok if I had a smart phone. I own a flip-phone and a desk top computer which makes it impossible to look thing up while i'm in the car.

Excellent service. I will only trust the Service Techs at First State Chevrolet with my Mid-Engine Corvette. Finding the right Technicians to service the Corvettes is imperative. They are trained to service Corvettes as well as other Chevrolet vehicles. Members of our Corvette Club bring their own Corvettes to First State Chevy. So, that speaks for itself !!!!

Mark the service advisor was curt and rude. Was he having a bad day? My car was towed there and all he said was Wendy would be driving me home. Heard nothing on Friday called Saturday he said he didn't look at it. Never asked if I needed to get a rental car etc. no customer service at all.

My questions were answered, except the one about what percentage of the battery should I charge. I've read that it isn't good to charge the battery to 100% all the time because it wears out the battery sooner. Everything else was good. Gustavo was friendly and courteous. The work was done quickly and professionally.

Thank you for servicing your Bolt EUV with us. The answer to your question is GM recommends to charge your battery to 80% for daily use to get the best longevity from the battery. If you know you need maximum range then you can charge to 100% before the trip needing the full range. If there are any other questions please feel free to call me and I can answer them for you. It took about an hour and that included the oil change and service checks as well as a patch to one of my tires. At checkout Jamie gave me an estimate on new tires, which I will need very soon. Last summer I went in to have rain guards installed. As I was pulling in, a light informed me I had a low tire. I had just been in the week before for servicing so I knew I picked up a nail! They found it, plugged it up and didn't charge a dime!! Was very grateful! 💜💜

After scheduling my appointment for Oil Change and Tire Rotation my wife dropped off the truck to be done and they didn’t rotate the tires or top off the fluids like windshield wiper fluid and tell my wife that they completed these services. Tires weren’t rotated and fluids weren’t topped off light came on dash saying low fluid.

Normally I only give great reviews. I do this to make up for people get very good service and give poor reviews. My last experience however was just poor. My 2024 Colorado was due for service and it took over a week to get an appointment for my wife to take it in. That was the best part of the experience. My wife felt rushed at check in. I was texted at work that I could text the desk if I had any questions while I waited. When it was done no one went over the service with my wife to confirm what was done or make any future suggestions they just sent her to the cashier. She started the truck and there was a warning light on. She went back in to Mark and told him this and the response was “I’ll have to see if I can find someone”. 30 minutes later, with no explanation as to the cause, she was told “ the light is out, sometimes these things happen”. Then it was pointed out she was driving in 4 auto ( on a day with potential mixed precipitation) and it was suggested that may have caused the light. This was just bad. My wife does not want to take our vehicles in for the next few services so I will be dropping them off and picking them up. Very inconvenient for minor services.

I had a bad experience at cashiers office-thoyght I was going to pass out-Shirley immediately noticed my condition-got me a chair and called 911'she was so attentive to me and stayed with me until ambulance arrived-she contacted a relative to go to hospital with me-i had the keys and did not know-your staff left my truck in the bay overnight-i can not say enough of your entire staff-it was a blood pressure issue and not a mini stroke as first thought-again many thanks!!!

I brought my Chevy Colorado in with a check engine light on. The truck was looked at by a auto repair establishment three times and they were unable to fix the problem. First Chevy examined the problem, diagnosed the problem, and then solved the problem. Outstanding service, communication, and professionalism. I will be using them in the future.

I'm used to most dealerships giving a vacuum and wash to the vehicle when in for service, but that did not happen for my first appointment with First State.
